LOCAL ANESTHESIA PATIENT PRE-OPERATIVE INSTRUCTIONS
- Enjoy a good breakfast/lunch before attending your sugery
- BE CERTAIN to brush your teeth before you come in
- Take your regular, morning medications, as you usually do UNLESS directed otherwise by Dr. Blazic
- NO SMOKING or alcohol ingestion for 24 hours BEFORE surgery
- NO SMOKING for 2 weeks AFTER your surgery
- Signed Consent for Surgery and Anesthesia. This is a requirement for surgery. If you are under age 18, you must be accompanied by your parent(s) or legal guardian who must sign the consent form on your behalf.
- IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO KEEP YOUR APPOINTMENT, NOTIFY OUR OFFICE IMMEDIATELY. Failure to give sufficient notification at least one (1) week in advance will result in a cancellation fee
